Mental Health Events from ACS

Mental Health Support Events

Looking after someone with mental health issues can be extremely challenging. We've got a number of special events coming up which aim to give targetted support to carers and some practical tips.

Mental Health Workshop

When: Tues 26th March 2019 10am - 1pm
Where: Leatherhead Leisure Centre

Come and find out more about the new Single point of Access, the Triangle of Care, Healios, and consult on the new SABP Carers Strategy. There will also be a question and answer session with the SABP Carers lead.

There will also be other mental health agencies present with information and our own new pilots and carer involvement reference groups.

Adolescence Mental Health Workshop

When: Mon 29th April 2019 10am - 1pm
Where: Leatherhead Leisure Centre
Booking: To book your place please call us on 0303 040 1234 - spaces are limited and expected to fill up quickly..!

The workshop will be led by STEM4 who are a charity specialising in mental health in adolescence. The session will be delivered by mental health professionals and people with lived experience. It will cover anxiety, depression, self-harm, eating problems and also coping strategies and tools for building emotional resilience.
