We are looking for friendly, compassionate people who want to support unpaid carers across Surrey and help make a real difference in their local community. Whether you can give a little time regularly or help occasionally at events and activities, there are lots of ways to get involved.
Why volunteer with us?
Volunteering is a great way to:
- Support unpaid carers in Surrey
- Meet new people and be part of a friendly team
- Build confidence and experience
- Give back to your local community
- Learn new skills and receive training and support
Volunteering gives me the opportunity to see and hear people in a similar situation to my own. I help them a bit just by listening and offering a cuppa.
Volunteer opportunities
We offer a range of volunteer roles, including regular opportunities in local communities as well as more flexible, occasional roles supporting events and activities.
All volunteers receive:
- A full induction
- Training and ongoing support
- We don’t want our volunteers to be out of pocket, so we reimburse expenses such as travel.
