Trainer

The Trainer is responsible for creating and delivering high-quality training and development programmes for unpaid carers, professionals in the Education, Health & Social care sectors, and for corporate partners. This role is key to empowering carers with knowledge about their rights, and upskilling professionals and businesses to better support carers. The Trainer will also facilitate 'train the trainer' sessions to build capacity and extend the reach of the service's educational mission. We welcome job‑share applicants.

Young Carers Engagement Coordinator

The Young Carers Engagement Coordinator is responsible for delivering a consistent and accessible programme for young carers aged 12-16. Based in a specific quadrant, the coordinator will plan and lead a repeating schedule of evening youth clubs, weekend socials, and holiday activities which may include residential activities. We have two part-time roles available: both are fixed term (12 months) - 27 hours per week worked across four or five days (0.75 FTE)

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for supporting young carers to thrive? Join Action for Carers Surrey, a values-led charity supporting unpaid carers across Surrey. As our Young Carers Manager, you’ll lead and shape our services for children and young people aged 5–16, guiding a dedicated team to deliver regular respite, peer support and meaningful activities that help young carers feel supported and connected. You’ll build strong partnerships across communities to reach more young carers, while ensuring everything we offer - from youth clubs to weekend and holiday activities - is safe, consistent and focused on positive outcomes. Partnership Officer

The Partnership Officer is responsible for building relationships with community partners, embedding referral pathways, and leading the roll-out of accreditation schemes. With a specific focus on areas like VCSE engagement, the Partnership Officer will work to identify and support partners to become 'Carer Champions'. This role is proactive and data-informed, using insights to target engagement activity and build a network of organisations committed to supporting carers across Surrey.
