Mental Health Carer Practice Team Manager

full-time, 36 hours per week

In this brand new role, you will manage a team of 5 FTEs, all focused on supporting and advocating for those who are looking after people with mental health conditions. Alongside your management role, you will have your own responsibilities, working alongside colleagues within the Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to embed carer friendly practice. This will be through training and engagement activities and providing bespoke advice and support.

The postholder will provide information, advice, signposting and advocacy to unpaid adult carers who are caring for a relative or friend with a mental illness. They will work closely alongside NHS colleagues from the HOMEFirst, which is a new service run by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
