It is important that registered carers feel understood by our paid staff and volunteers. Therefore, as part of our recruitment process, we have carer volunteers to join the interview panel and ask specific questions from a carer perspective. This helps us recruit the right person into the right role, with qualities that are important to carers. We are looking for volunteers to support the interview process.
Our young carers team deliver fun and issue-based activities to children and young people across Surrey. These include youth groups, visits to activity centres, bowling alleys, climbing centres, sports centres and schools. We are looking for enthusiastic sessional youth workers to support these activities. You will enjoy working in a variety of settings and participating in a wide range of activities from kayaking to building go karts.
Volunteer at one of our 15 carers Hubs, which are based at various locations in Surrey. We are particularly looking for volunteers who can help out in our hubs in Godalming, Guildford, Camberley, Banstead, Merstham and Farnham. This is a rewarding activity which really will make a difference to carers lives within our communties.
