Former carer support group
When your caring role comes to an end, it can be helpful to talk to other people who understand. Join our Zoom support group to talk to our staff and other carers in a similar position.
Former carer support group
A group for carers who are experiencing loss and bereavement to find support from others.
This support group is structured over six months (January to June, and July to December). Although it is beneficial to attend all six sessions, it’s not necessary, and you can join mid way through.
These sessions are a chance to meet with other people who are experiencing the pain of bereavement and who will understand something of what you are feeling, as well as talk to our staff for some friendly support.
Find out more about how we can help you if you’re a former carer, registered with ACS, here.
This will be a video meet-up using Zoom and is open to all our registered carers, although spaces are limited.
If you’ve not used Zoom before, we have a handy guide below which will talk you through it.
