Being well, doing well: wellbeing workshop for carers at Polesden Lacy
Join our wellbeing workshop, looking at managing the ups and downs of being a carer, and developing strategies to help you find the right balance to improve your overall health, wellbeing and perspective on life.
‘Being well, doing well’
If you’re a carer, there’s a lot to juggle.
Our wellbeing workshop looks at ways to manage your responsibilities and the stresses of being a carer, and look after yourself too.
Taking place at beautiful Polesden Lacey, this workshop is open to all adult (18+) carers (though places are limited).
The Being Well, Doing Well programme gives you the tools to help you to recognise and address issues that arise because of your caring role. You will understand the importance of giving yourself time out, while increasing your confidence and self-esteem.
And you’ll also have time to relax, have a picnic and explore the grounds and gardens at beautiful Polesden Lacey.
What’s covered:
- The importance of giving yourself time out
- Techniques to improve confidence and self-esteem
- Tools on managing stress
- Strategies that you can take into daily life to improve your overall health and perspective.
On the day you’re invited to participate in whatever ways you feel most comfortable with – as much or as little! You’ll come away armed with a ‘wellbeing toolkit’ that should help keep your life on an even keel.
