Kay Taylor
I joined ACS in 2015. I am a registered Occupational Therapist and previously worked in the NHS in elderly, stroke and neurological rehabilitation and community care. I completed my additional training as a Moving and Handling Trainer in 2012 with experience of training NHS staff in safe moving and handling practices. I have thoroughly enjoyed my role supporting and training informal carers since joining the charity 3 years ago.
Our team strives to do whatever we can to find practical solutions for carers to help them to move the person they care for in the safest way possible. We provide a bespoke service in their home, giving them the information and skills they need to help look after their own health, as well as the person they care for. This role is extremely rewarding and I am very proud to lead this specialist carer service.
