Healthy eating and diabetes

Looking after someone with diabetes places an extra responsibility on the carer who's cooking. Join ACS and Diabetes UK to look at how to eat healthily, even when it can be harder to shop.
Healthy eating and diabetes
If you, or the person you’re looking after has (or might be heading towards) diabetes, diet is especially important.
With Sri from Diabetes UK, we’ll talk about about eating healthy when not all products are available, eating healthy when you can’t go to the shops because you are shielding or self-isolating, eating healthy when you are at home all the time. We will provide some information and practical tips on how to swap from an unhealthy option to a healthier option, and explain where to look at for on the food labels and what a healthy balanced diet is.
We’ll also explain what diabetes is and how you can recognise the symptoms.
Hosted by Thandi from ACS and Sri from Diabetes UK.
