JAMIE GAULT - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Jamie Gault joined the organisation in July 2015 following the retirement of our outgoing CEO, Jane Thornton.
Jamie has over 33 years’ experience in the charity, private and financial services sectors where he has undertaken a number of senior operational roles. In 2008 Jamie changed career direction engaging with a number of people focused charities to assist in the development of their strategies. During this period Jamie was also a trustee of a charity providing support to families who have children with special educational needs. In the two years before joining us Jamie helped a number of charities delivering transformational programmes for young people, including a delivery partner for the Prince’s Trust. He was also involved with the Theatre of Debate, a start-up charity delivering educationally focussed projects to schools.
As someone who has been a carer, Jamie understands the issues and pressures that being a carer presents and the importance and value of accessible services and receiving the right information, support, advice and representation. Aligned to this, Jamie is passionate about the work undertaken by Action for Carers and is committed to making a positive impact on carer’s lives.
