Surrey Carers Strategy Consultation

Surrey County Council and the NHS in Surrey have opened a NEW survey (open November 2020, closing January 3) to help finalise the draft Surrey Carers Strategy 2021-24.

Calling all carers

This survey will help shape the support that is offered to carers in Surrey

Surrey County Council and local NHS organisations want to hear your views on the Carers’ Strategy which sets out how services will improve carers’ lives.

The Surrey Carers Strategy 2021-24 outlines the values and priorities which will underpin support for carers in Surrey and details a number of commitments including a new Surrey Carers Health Check Voucher and greater support for working carers.

Even more carers due to pandemic

With more and more people taking on caring roles due to the pandemic, the county council and Surrey clinical commissioning groups are seeking as many views as possible on the draft plan – including from residents who may not have previously considered themselves carers.

Take the new survey

Carers have until 3 January next year to complete the short survey on the draft strategy on the Surrey Says website. Hard copies can be printed and accessible versions of the survey including Easy Read are also available.
