Calling all Surrey young carers in years 9, 10 and 11!

The University of Surey is offering an online alternative to its annual summer school for young carers this year. The Virtual Summer School will include interactive University subject tasters, University finance and support sessions and activities to support your development and knowledge of your post 16 options. It runs 7th-9th of July.

You will also get to meet their team of student ambassadors who will help you through the week. Some of them also have caring responsibilities. There will also be a variety of evening entertainment including quizzes, Student Union Clubs and Society tasters and wellbeing activities.

The timetable has been built with a core programme of sessions, plus repeated and recorded sessions so you can build your own timetable to work around your commitments. The week will be a mixture of screen time and independent activities and you won’t be expected to be online all day.
