We are delighted to launch an art competition for carers!

Competition details

In support of Carers Week we are asking carers in Surrey to design an A4 poster on the theme ‘Making Caring Visible’. Carers often feel isolated and that their caring role is hidden, this year we’d like to challenge that and celebrate unpaid carers. The winning poster will be used across Surrey to raise awareness of those with a caring role and increase support for unpaid carers.

You can send your artwork to us either by email or by post to the following address: Action for Carers (Surrey), Astolat, Coniers Way, Burpham, GU4 7HL by Friday 22nd May.

What is Carers Week?

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support. This year Carers Week will run from 8th – 14th June.
