Wills, trusts, lasting power of attorney and deputyships: a general overview
As a carer, you may need to help with someone's affairs, or be completely responsible for their finances and their future. Join specialist Steve Howells to find out about all the options. NOW FULLY BOOKED.
Join us to find out about the different mechanisms for looking after someone’s affairs and how you can support the person you’re looking after now or in the future. Whether you’re considering taking over responsibility in due course for an older adult, looking after a child who won’t be able to make their own decisions in the future, or considering what might happen if you can’t remain in charge, it’s important to understand how it all works.
For nearly two decades, Steve Howells has specialised in trusts and financial arrangements for vulnerable people. He often speaks at carer groups and seminars for professional bodies on the subject. Steve has much experience in dealing with the families of those who are vulnerable and has valuable insight as to how these arrangements work after a parent or carer has died. Steve works closely with Rethink Mental Illness and other national charities and is a director at Arcadia Trust Group.
This event is now FULLY BOOKED, but we’re planning to have another session in the near future.
