Trusts: looking after someone’s affairs
Join us to find out about trusts, which can be an appropriate mechanism for the finances of a vulnerable person. Whether you’re responsible for an adult, looking after a child who won’t be able to make their own decisions in the future, or considering what might happen if you can’t remain in charge, it’s important to understand how it all works.
For nearly two decades, Steve Howells has specialised in trusts and financial arrangements for vulnerable people. He often speaks at carer groups and seminars for professional bodies on the subject. Steve has much experience in dealing with the families of those who are vulnerable and has valuable insight as to how these arrangements work after a parent or carer has died. Steve works closely with Rethink Mental Illness and other national charities and is a director at Arcadia Trust Group.
