Join us and Surrey and Borders Partnership if you are a carer for someone with mental ill health who's received inpatient care, to discuss SaBP's plans for a new Carer Forum.
Mental Health Carers Forum – Surrey and Borders
Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Trust (SaBP) want to do more for unpaid carers who support someone receiving mental health care from SaBP inpatient services.
They plan to set up a Carer Forum, to enable carers to share their views and get support.
They want to know how YOU think the Forum should work and what it might cover, and invite you to a meeting at our Godalming Hub to input your thoughts.
It takes place 12-2pm, Tuesday 17th December at our Godalming Hub, held at Godalming Library, Bridge St, Godalming, GU7 1HT.
The overall aim of the Forum will be influence how the hospital works with/supports carers of patient who have mental ill health.
Should this be done as a formal meeting, or a social meeting. How would you like to share your views and experiences? Should the Forum also maybe have special speakers, or a social benefit? When and how often should it meet?
