Being well, doing well
Join us to look at managing the ups and downs of being a carer, and the importance of giving yourself some time out. Come and have fun creating a treasure chest to see you through difficult times; we'll send you the materials!
‘Being well, doing well’ workshop
If you’re a carer, there’s a lot to juggle. Our new workshops look at how to manage your responsibilities and the stresses of being a carer – and look after yourself too.
Our new ‘Being well, doing well’ sessions give you the tools to help you to recognise and address issues that arise because of your caring role. You will understand the importance of giving yourself time out, while increasing your confidence and self-esteem.
The first session includes an introduction decorating a treasure chest to hold all the items which can help us in difficult times. The sessions also will include some short exercises.
We’ll send you all the craft materials: come and have fun.
There are three sessions in July: Thursday 12th, 19th and 26th. Each session’s different, so you can join us for just one, or come to them all. These workshops are aimed at adults of all ages; we’ll be holding more specialist sessions for young adult carers aged 18-24 in September.
