Join ACS staff, specialist Autism experts, and other carers at our special Autism event. It will include a chance to 'experience' the sensory challenges of Autism in a special training vehicle
Autism Awareness Day
Friday 4th April 10am -4.15pm, Astolat, Coniers Way, Burpham, Guildford GU4 7HL
If you support an Autistic person, please come to our Autism Awareness Day this April. Lots is happening:
- Sign up for a session on the Autism Experience Bus, to get a deeper understanding of what having autism feels like
- Talk with specialists from multiple Surrey organisations for more support and advice in our ‘marketplace’ – including Surrey County Council Carer Practice Advisers (Transition, LD & Autism Teams); and L-SPA (Learners Single Point of Access), Family Voice, Luminus and more.
- Meet and chat with our staff and other carers in similar situations
- Refreshments available
Booking is essential. And apologies, we’re only able to open this event to carers (not the cared for, or other family members) due to the setting. We look forward to meeting you on the day!
