Surrey Schools Young Carer Network

Length 45 minutes

The network is for Surrey schools to improve the support of young carers.

Meet with other school staff supporting young carers to share ideas and best practice, ask questions and build your network in these supportive and informal termly sessions.

Facilitated by expert staff from Action for Carers. Each session includes a talk from a guest speaker.

This session:

Guest speaker is Sarah Lyles, PSHE, Wellbeing & Surrey Healthy Schools Service Manager, Education & Life Long Learning & Public Health, Surrey County Council.

Sarah will talk about Surrey Healthy Schools in relation to ‘Fair Futures’, the theme of Young Carers Action Day, which takes place on 11th March.
