Our support

We offer a flexible range of countywide support by telephone, face-to-face meetings where needed, local carers support groups and workshops, and other events, plus a wide range of resources.  Our support includes drop-in Hubs for carers, running across the county.

  • Find full details of our support here
  • Details of all upcoming free events here (this includes support groups, information events and wellbeing sessions too)
  • And find all our resources, including our latest newsletter – full of updates, news and activities – here

If you have young carers (5-17) in your household, we support them too. Find out what we offer them here and you can register them here.

Here are some of our key leaflets you may also find helpful: our Hubs, our Moving and Handling Service, and for Young Carers.

Mutual expectations

We work to certain standards to ensure you get the best support. And we also ask carers to ensure they treat other carers and our staff with care and respect. Details here.

Want to know more?

We run regular online sessions with members of our team, that give you a fuller explanation of all the support on offer and how to access it. These events are called ‘New to Action for Carers’. Just take a look for the next session on our Events Pages.
