Volunteer - Carer Hub Support

Help unpaid carers where you live

We have local Hubs running right across Surrey, each one takes place two days a month.

Working alongside a paid member of staff you, you will:

• Make carers feel welcome by creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
• Help carers to sign in.
• Offer an empathetic and listening ear.
• Direct carers to a Carer Support Advisor for signposting to specific support.

In return, Action for Carers will provide you with a warm welcome and induction, training opportunities, regular ‘check ins’ with our Volunteers Coordinator and agreed expenses.

We are particularly looking for volunteers who can help out in our hubs especially in Camberley and Farnham. You can see details of when the Hubs run, and their locations on our Hubs page.
