Moving and Handling – ‘sit to stand’ session
ACS’s specialist Moving and Handling Advisors can help carers with the physical side of looking after someone. Join us for demonstrations, tips and discussion on caring for someone who is struggling to get up from the bed, chair, toilet or wheelchair. We can help with safe solutions and possible equipment to protect your health and the person you’re caring for.

How to join us
This will be a video meet up using Zoom and is open to all our registered carers although spaces are limited.
If you’ve not used Zoom before, we have a handy guide below which will talk you through it.
