Male Carers Online Group
Time to Chat – A relaxed, friendly online group for male carers to connect, have a chat and share experiences. This month we will be joined by Luminus, a Surrey-based organisation that works to ensure local people’s voices and experiences help shape and improve health and social care services.
Male Carers Online Group – Time to Chat
Our regular online group gives male carers a relaxed, informal space to get together, meet others and have a chat.
There’s no set agenda and no pressure to talk about anything you don’t want to. Conversations might be about caring, everyday life, shared experiences – or something completely different!
The group is led by Blair Parrott from Surrey County Council, alongside a male member of the Action for Carers team.
This month we will also be joined by Pam and Lisa from Luminus, a Surrey-based organisation that works to ensure local people’s voices and experiences help shape and improve health and social care services.
About Luminus
Luminus run a (SCC-commissioned service) ‘Giving carers a voice’ to listen to the experiences of carers (of all ages) to ensure their views are heard in the design and delivery of the services that they use. Carers’ views and voices are recorded in Luminus’ reports which are shared with SCC and the NHS.
