COVID Vaccine Eligibility Update

Eligibility for the COVID vaccine has changed. Free NHS COVID jabs are now only available to people aged 75 and over, those with weakened immune systems, and residents of older adult care homes. Unpaid carers are no longer eligible for a free COVID vaccine.

Many people are currently receiving text messages PRETENDING to be from the Government or HMRC, telling you it's time to apply for your Winter Fuel Payment. These are scams.

Carer Wellbeing Break Payments

Surrey have updated guidance on their Carer Wellbeing Break Payments - a one off payment of £300 to help you take a break.

This September, Francis Gordon-Alleyne will walk 117km of the Camino de Santiago in memory of his wife Carol. His goal is to raise funds and awareness for Action for Carers Surrey and Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care, two charities that supported him during one of the most difficult times in his life.
