Balancing work with a caring role can be challenging. This practical and supportive session will help you understand your rights at work and feel more confident asking for the support you need.

The session will cover:

Employment rights for carers, including flexible working and access to leave
How to advocate for yourself with your line manager
Constructive, employment-focused ways to discuss your needs at work

The session will be led by Natalie Riddick, People & Culture Manager at Action for Carers Surrey, and Sally Burton, Adult Carers Manager.

Natalie joined Action for Carers Surrey in June 2025, following more than 10 years’ experience as a people leader within the education sector.
