Get Creative with CREATE: 6 Week, Online Creative Writing Workshop
Join Action for Carers Surrey and CREATE for a relaxed and creative six-week course exploring how stories, plays and films come to life.
- 30th September – 18 November (break for half term), 10:45am – 1:35pm
Over the six sessions, you’ll have the chance to develop your own characters and stories, exploring everything from what happens and where it takes place to the challenges your characters might face.
Across the six weeks, we’ll explore:
- Week 1 – Characters: Who is your story about?
- Week 2 – Action: What do your characters do?
- Week 3 – Drama: What challenges do they face?
- Week 4 – Location: Where does your story take place?
- Week 5 – Time: When does it happen, and over what period?
- Week 6 – Bringing it together: Finish your piece and, if you’d like to, share it with the group.
There will be plenty of opportunities to share ideas, learn from each other and have fun along the way. You don’t need any previous writing or drama experience – just come along and have a go.
