Perhaps you missed out in the ballot, or you’ve always wondered what it would feel like to cross that famous finish line. Now could be your moment.
One charity place has become available on #TeamACS for the London Marathon on Saturday 24 April 2027. It’s your chance to take on an unforgettable challenge while helping unpaid carers across Surrey feel supported.
Every day, people across Surrey care for someone who couldn’t manage without them. They might be supporting a partner with dementia, a child with additional needs, or a parent living with a long-term illness. Caring can be rewarding, but it can also be exhausting and isolating.
By running for Action for Carers Surrey, you’ll help us provide information, advice and support to carers when they need it most. Every donation you raise will give those miles a purpose beyond your own personal challenge.
A place on our team
We ask our runner to pledge to raise a minimum of £2,200 to support our work. In return, you’ll receive:
- An ACS charity place in the London Marathon 2027
- Dedicated fundraising support
- An ACS running top to wear with pride
- Training tips and encouragement
- Support from our team throughout your marathon journey

If a full marathon feels a little too much, we also have charity places available for the Surrey Half Marathon 2027. At 13.1 miles, it’s a rewarding challenge and another brilliant way to support unpaid carers across Surrey.
