Join ACS and Guildford Young Carers’ Family Fun Day at the Spectrum

We are pleased to be able to invite our young carer families to our Summer Family Fun Day this August! This is a joint event from Action for Carers and Guildford Young Carers.
The Family Day will take place on Monday 10th August at the Guildford Spectrum.
You are invited to join us for a fun morning, or afternoon, of swimming, bowling or ice skating, followed by time to share a picnic, meet others and make new friends.
Places at this event are limited and pre-paid for by Action for Carers and Guildford Young Carers.
Details of the day’s sessions:
- Morning: 10.30am–1.30pm
- Afternoon: 1pm–4pm
The purpose of the day is not only to provide you with a fully funded opportunity to access activities at the spectrum but also the chance to meet other families and created new friendships.
For that reason, we will start each session together, then go of into the activities that you have been allocated and then come back together afterwards to bid our farewells.
We will also be hosting a picnic lunch (all being well with the weather). Please bring a picnic or buy lunch at the cafe, and we will all eat together and enjoy some more activities.
Lunch will be from 12.30 to 2pm, so that those from both the morning and the afternoon sessions have the chance to come together and meet.
