Calling all carers!

This is a free event for carers covering some key areas including how to avoid financial scams targetting carers, carers rights and benefits update, and advice from our moving and handling team.

Info on the day...

The event will have representatives from the Organised Crime Unit who will be able to guide carers on how to avoid common financial scams, particularly those aimed at carers.

Carers UK will also be there giving an update on current campaigns and how they might affect you.

Surrey Welfare Rights Unit will be giving a presentation on Carers rights and benefits with the opportunity for a more in-depth discussion with them later in the event.

We will also be picking your brains on how our website can best serve you in the future and the kind of information you need from it.
