Action for Carers Surrey
Enabling carers to have a voice and realise a life outside caring

Are you 18 - 24? We really need your input and would like to invite you to a get-together!

If you are a young adult carer, we'd love your input for our new project, helping 18-24 year old carers find their way around local services, and in life.  You can get involved right now by answering 10 quick questions on how we can help you:

We'd also like invite you to a get-together on Thursday February 13, 2014 from 7-9pm at Urban Kitchen (upstairs),  9a Church Street, Reigate RH2 OAA.  As well as relaxing with like-minded people, and enjoying a meal, we’ll be putting questions in a hat for our friendly guest experts to answer on the night or soon afterward.

For example, you might like to ask what to do if caring responsibility at home is causing problems at work, or if you can apply for Carers Allowance, or what to do if the person you look after needs more help than you can manage.

So, first step.  Let us know if you’re joining us on February 13th (and if you need transport) in any of these ways:

    Text:     07805 810712
    Phone: 01483 563573 and speak to Lisa or Russell
    Email:

Second step.  Even if you don’t join us for nachos and more, we hope you’d like us to keep in touch.  If so, please let us know your phone and email for our database by the end of January, or we won’t be able to contact you again!

We hope to see you in February, OR hear that you’d like to be part of our growing network.
All the best, and we're really looking forward to meeting up.
