About Adult Social Care Assessment and Reviews

The Trustees of Surrey Independent Living Council (SILC) would like to hear from anyone who has had an Adult Social Care assessment or review in the last 12 months.

Jo Komisarczuk, Chair of SILC, said “we want to gather information about the experience disabled people are having of being assessed and reviewed by Surrey County Council. To do this we need to hear the voices of disabled people or those supporting them so we can build up an accurate picture of what things are like for disabled people who need care and support to live at home”.

So, if you or someone you know would be happy to tell them your story, please contact SILC. Any information you provide will be treated confidentially, and if they share your story with Surrey County Council they will ensure it is fully anonymised before doing so.

You can send them your story by emailing it to, or by writing to Trustees, SILC, Astolat, Coniers Way, Burpham, GU4 7HL. Alternatively, if you would like one of our Trustees to call you in strictest confidence, just call 01483 458 111 or text 07919 418 009 and one of SILC’s Trustees will give you a call.
