Surrey County Council is currently developing a new service for adults and have asked to meet and consult with carers about how the service will meet the needs of both the carer and the person with autism and learning disability. Peter Tempest, Assistant Director of Surrey County Council and his new team will be at the event to meet with you.

Surrey County Council know that transport impacts everybody’s lives and the ability to connect with services, friends and family and recognises that there are some considerable challenges with Surrey’s existing transport network.
As an exploratory exercise they are very keen to hear from patient passengers and will be holding a focus group on Thurs 20th June between 3-5pm to hear the experiences of Surrey’s patient passengers.
The session will be held in NHS Guildford and Waverley CCG in the boardroom. All participants will be reimbursed for their travel expenses and refreshments will be provided.
