Take some time for yourself. Join us for a mindfulness session where we will practise techniques to promote wellbeing and reduce stress.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the state of being actively in the present rather than in the past, or anticipating the future, observing ones thoughts without judging them as good or bad.

The benefits include lowering stress levels, reducing harmful ruminating, and protecting against depression and anxiety.

Diana Thornton is a mindfulness teacher, working with adults and with primary and secondary school children. She started her career over 30 years ago as a music therapist and has a lifelong interest in contemplative practices. Diana is also a trained counsellor and psychotherapist.
