Are you supporting someone with an eating disorder? Join our new specialist support group, to talk to other carers in a similar position, explore ideas to support recovery, and have a chance to look after your own needs.

Eating disorders support group

Supporting someone with an eating disorder (or disordered eating) presents particular challenges; join us to talk to Lynne Dosseter, our specialist mental health carers support advisor, and other carers in a similar situation.

Our support groups bring carers with shared experiences together. Hearing from others who understand what you are going through allows you to exchange ideas, make space for you to think about your own needs, and can help you to feel less alone.

The person you care for does not need to have a formal diagnosis.

This will be a video meet up using Zoom and is open to all our registered carers, although spaces are limited.

If you’ve not used Zoom before, we have a handy guide below which will talk you through it.
