Comic Club: Drawing Tips
This workshops aims to give you a break as an unpaid carer and learn and do something completely different – building your creativity and skills at the same time.
Professional comic art tutor, James, from Comic Club will be leading a session looking at the techniques and tips used by professional artists.
As a follow on from the comic art skills session in February we’ll be learning drawing tricks and tips used by professional illustrators and artists across the world, leaning towards a bit of manga anime style art tips and tricks!
You’ve learnt how to tell a story using comics, now pick up lots of hacks for actually drawing them! Character design, background, composition, sequencing, narrative flow – no experience necessary!
This is a no-pressure, no-previous-experience necessary session to open our minds to the possibilities of personal imaginative expression through comics and illustration!
How to join
This will be an online video meet up using Zoom and is open to all our registered carers, although spaces are limited.
