A free special event for families where someone has addiction issues. There will be tailored presentations, plus fun activities for the young people in your family. Refreshments provided.
Addiction issues: Family Workshop
If you care for someone living with addiction, whether that’s alcohol or substance misuse, we would like to invite you to join us for our workshop which is for you, and the other adults and children in your family.
The session aims to provide advice and support, including activities and fun for young people. It takes place in Lower Kingswood, Reigate & Banstead KT20 7EA.
(PLEASE NOTE: this is a family-only event – you must have young carers (under 18) in your family to attend. We will be running further addiction/substance misuse workshops just for adult carers, later in the year.)
Guest speakers
We will have presentations from Nacoa (National Association of Children of Alcoholics) and a Carer Practice Advisor from the Specialist Mental Health Team Surrey.
